It facilitates the completion of site forms, including beginning-of-shift and end-of-shift reports, as well as other daily systems crucial to site operations. Once submitted, the forms are automatically processed and integrated into a management dashboard, providing real-time insights into site performance. The application also prioritizes emergency submissions, flagging and processing them immediately for swift action. By automating routine tasks and centralizing data, Honu Operations enhances operational efficiency, reduces manual oversight, and ensures timely decision-making.
The Honu Operations Application is an integrated system designed to manage daily operational tasks, including inventory tracking, site forms, and shift reports for a large-scale operation. As the Product Manager for this project, I coordinated across multiple teams, including medical staff, on-site managers, and executive leadership, to ensure that the system met the needs of all stakeholders. The application automates data entry, processes reports in real-time, and prioritizes emergency submissions, providing managers and teams with immediate visibility into operations and streamlining decision-making.
Before the development of the Honu Operations Application, the company relied on manual processes and disconnected tools to manage critical daily reports, inventory logs, and operational forms. This created bottlenecks in reporting, delays in decision-making, and a lack of visibility into key operational data. The need for a centralized, user-friendly system was critical to improving real-time data processing and enabling better communication between medical staff, managers, and the executive team.
As the Product Manager, I worked closely with on-site managers, medical staff, and senior executives to define the product requirements and translate those needs into actionable features. I facilitated discussions between different stakeholder groups to prioritize functionality and ensure the application addressed the pain points across departments. I also collaborated with engineering and design teams to develop a scalable solution and managed the product roadmap to ensure timely delivery.

One of the primary challenges was balancing the diverse needs of the medical staff, who required a straightforward, easy-to-use interface, with the needs of the management team, who required more robust reporting and data analytics features. Additionally, the integration of emergency submission prioritization required careful coordination with various systems to ensure seamless data flow. Maintaining system uptime during the integration process also required close collaboration with IT and operational teams.
